Who They Are
Jack
Hughes has worked as a lawyer, analyst, research manager, and negotiator, but
became hooked on software development and marketing in the early 90's. He
is a member of Mensa, where he has worked to encourage learning and creative
thinking, and to create ways of channeling the results.
With
this oddly mixed background, it was inevitable that he'd come up with some new,
creative ways to approach marketing. After studying how people were
motivated to buy into new ideas, he created the "Knowledge Mint
Method" of turning confusion into knowledge and getting people into a mood
for buying your product or service.
From
this came a series of simple but really useful software products, including Sales
Mint to help salespeople discover how to present benefits correctly.
Market Mint helps marketers and copy writers focus their marketing
materials to bring out the proper benefits that will cause clients to leap to
the order form. Promotion Mint is a great tool for advertisers to help
create promotions that benefit the client and create sales at the same time. For
students, he developed Study Tamer, an easy to use software aid to
help students to learn better and more quickly.

members a gift of a very, very useful video on how to set up, for small cost, your very own mail
server on your home computer. By following the simple instructions in the
video, and downloading some free software, you can set up a server to send out
your mail, bypassing your ISP. Be warned that you must have an 'always on'
internet connection, either cable or DSL, to use this effectively. This may not
be used for SPAM, of course.
